Attention all Queen Square Boulers – no play on the 10th May.

A reminder that tomorrow’s session, ie 10th May, is cancelled as the surfaces are being re-dressed with the 5 tons of grit (6mm free limestone). This work is scheduled to commence mid morning so the square will be unavailable for play this week.
The Bath Grand Cru Petanque Club (Chris Garratt) has made arrangements for this with the supplier and is to supply the labour for distributing the grit onto the playing squares. Any other help would very welcome of course.
The intention is to create an improved playing surface, and to enhance the visual aspect of the square.
The process will be for a first layer of grit to be laid and pressured down, followed by a top surface.
