There are many other locations in Bath that support pétanque and many of these establishments also participate in the Bath Thursday League.
Queens Head located in Box has two good sized pistes and currently have 2 teams participating in the Thursday League and also run some of their own competitions.
The Northey Arms located in Box has 8 pistes of which the second will provide a challenge to even the best players. The Northey have multiple teams participating in the Thursday League.
Claverton Down Hall located next to the University has 3 pistes. The pistes can be hired through the local commitee. Currently there are no Thursday League teams based at this location.
Old Culverhaysians Rugby Club have recently created two pistes at their clubhouse and have recently joined the Bath Thursday League.
Compton Inn has three pistes at the back of the inn. Not only are the represented in the Thursday league, they also run a team in the Brunel league featuring the top side in the region.
Tollgate Inn boules players in Wiltshire can now play on the newly-refurbished pitch at the Tollgate Inn in Holt. The three piste terrain at the pub has been extended to 14 x 9m to allow players extra room.
Wellow have pistes at Wellow Playing Field. The Wellow Club are part of the Thursday League and meet for social playing sessions on Sundays at 2.00 pm and on Wednesdays.
