Race to Hayling 1

The three GWR Race to Hayling events are the regional qualifiers for the EPA Inter-Regional Championships which is held over two days in September each year at Hayling Island.

The country’s 12 regions can enter up to 8 teams into the Competition. The regions are grouped into two Divisions; GWR is currently in Division 2. Regions can also enter teams into the Championship which is a separate competition consisting of 4 teams per region. There is also a Junior competition.

These events also act as qualifiers for regional events and other events which may take place during the year.

This year two of the three qualifiers are being held at LSC and we have two teams entered. This will be an opportunity to watch some of the more experienced players from the region in action, so please come along and support these events.
