Saturday Morning Boules

Boules on Saturday at Larkhall Sports Club.

Please be aware that the December melee, which is normally held on the first Saturday of each month, ie today, has been delayed by one week to the 9th December to de-conflict this event with a football match at LSC.  This Saturday will be a normal club session.

The City of Bath Petanque Club ( Boules) opened their new pistes at Larkhall Sports Club in July 2015 and starting in the autumn we have started to hold regular Saturday morning sessions. With the availability of a club house, free parking and toilets we now have the facilities to make your morning enjoyable.

Every Saturday starting at 10.00 a.m. a number of players get together to test themselves against other players. Levels vary from beginners to experienced players and all age groups are welcome. New players are welcome to come along and join in although we are required (under our insurance policy terms and conditions) that after 5 sessions you will need to join the English Petanque Association. There is no fee to play. Don’t worry if you do not have your own set of boules, spare set are available for your use.

Separate one on one coaching is also available on most Saturdays.

We play in most types of weather and have only been deterred by snow and heavy rain.
