Melee (Spring Open weekend)

This Melee is part of the Club’s Spring Open programme and will be held in Queen Square. The Club is hosting visitors from one of the Petanque clubs in Alkmaar (one of the Bath Twinning cities)  and this is an opportunity for club members to meet and compete with our visitors before the Spring Open event on the 24th April.

As usual, this event is open to everyone who would like a game of boules, it is not limited to club members. The event is normally over 4 time limited rounds to give a finish time of around 17.00 or earlier. Cash prizes are awarded to the winner and runner-up.

Normal melee rules apply – individuals draw a number on arrival and this is used to determine who plays with whom in each round. The winner is the person who accumulates most points across all games played during the afternoon.

The entry fee is £3.00 per person.
