The Bath Club meets every Monday from the beginning of April through to the middle of October. The Club use their home Piste which is located in Alexandra Park, Bath opposite Beechin Cliff School for their club nights.
Club nights for Bath Club Members start at around 5.00 and coaching sessions usually
commence at 5.30 for about one hour. These sessions are for both existing and new members. These coaching sessions are then followed by a series of games.
The City of Bath Pétanque Club also run a number of teams in local as well as regional leagues and all members are eligible to participate. Additionally players can also be selected to represent the region to compete in competitions run by the English Pétanque Association. The Club also operates another piste in Alice Park, Larkhall, Bath where they rune a couple of teams in the Thursday leagues.
In addition to the coaching sessions this year we will also be running a series of skills tests open to all members which will run over the year with a Cup for the person who has exhibited the best skills.
Club nights are open to any member of the English Pétanque Association
Non members from the Bath and surrounding areas are welcome to come along and try out the club nights, learn about the sport of Pétanque, participate in the coaching sessions and play in the matches although we do ask that after three sessions you join the club.
