Club Squads:

The Club has 2 squads, one for the Brunel league and one for EPA / GWR competitions.

CoBPC performance in competitions in the past has been poor, and we are aiming to improve performance by entering teams of squad members instead of teams of friends.

If you have experience of playing in leagues and are interested in joining the squad, talk to one of the coaches.

As a rough guide, the standard we aim for is to win 4 out of 6 points and the same for shooting.

Good players who attend Monday coaching sessions will also be approached by coaches to see if they are interested.

City of Bath Pétanque Club

Newsletter No 13.  May 2016

A word from The Chair

The recent visit from 11 members of L’Autre Chemin club of Alkmaar was a huge success.  Our visitors enjoyed a full programme of social and playing events including a reception with the Mayor of Bath, a Dutch speaking walking tour, a visit to the Roman Baths and a great farewell dinner at Le Bistrot Pierre.  They particularly appreciated staying with Club members. Many thanks to all involved. The links between our 2 clubs are now very strong and I’m sure will lead to many twinning visits in future.
